BUS 3010 - Insurance Planning The course begins with a discussion of the principles of insurance, identifies the life, health, homeowner’s, auto and other property and liability risk exposures. The bulk of the course consists of policy analysis of property and liability, life insurance, annuity, and health insurance policies. The course concludes with a discussion of the legal aspects of insurance, taxation of insurance products, and the selection of insurance companies and agencies.
Prerequisites & Notes The prerequisite is junior standing or permission.
